About Us
Healing Minds provides holistic and patient-centred psychiatric and psychological services. Our team includes psychiatrists, clinical psychologists, family therapist, mindfulness trainer, expressive art therapist and occupational therapist. We work with clients of all ages including children, adolescents, adults and seniors, as well as with couples and families in coping with their challenges and taking care of their mental health.
We work collaboratively with clients to construct individualized treatment plan with achievable goals. This involves identifying and tackling specific mood, behavioural or cognitive problems, which may interfere with optimal functioning and relationships. We help clients to set short-term, intermediate and long-term treatment goals that lead to the path of recovery.
At Healing Minds, we provide psychiatric, psychological, and occupational assessment services. This includes assessment for mood and anxiety disorders, psychotic disorders, cognitive impairment, attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), autistic spectrum disorders (ASD), personality disorders, impulse control problems and forensic assessment. We also provide intellectual, cognitive, and developmental assessment.
Our team provide a wide range of therapeutic services. Our psychiatrists provide psychological as well as pharmacological intervention through diagnostic assessment and medication evaluation and management. Our clinical psychologists are trained in a wide range of therapeutic models, such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Psychotherapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy and Couple and Family Counselling. Our therapists also provide mindfulness programs, services to help with parenting, as well as social skills training and emotional regulation training for children and adolescents. Our occupational therapist provides cognitive and work rehabilitation, sensory integration therapy, behavioural therapy, and lifestyle redesign programs. We promote positive coping and stress management for mood and behavioural problems, and effective communication and conflict resolution for marital and family problems. For children and adolescents, we focus on improving communication and skills-building for both parents and children through systemic assessment and formulation of personalized treatment plans, with areas such as enhancing emotional control, behavioural management, developing social skills, and supporting positive parenting.
