Introduction:

Dr. Powell is a highly experienced clinical psychologist with nearly 15 years of practice. In addition to her clinical work, she holds an honorary lecturer position at The University of Hong Kong. Dr. Powell possesses diverse expertise in a range of psychological interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Mindful Parenting (MP), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotion-focused therapy, and Seeking Safety. Her specialization encompasses working with adults experiencing depression, anxiety, insomnia, grief, trauma, and other psychological and emotional challenges.

Dr. Powell has also translated notable works such as "Mindful Parenting: Finding Space to Be in a World of To Do" and "100 Ways to Support Recovery." She is dedicated to implementing research-informed practices in psychological intervention and well-being promotion within the community. As a pioneer in Hong Kong, she has adapted transdiagnostic cognitive behavioral therapy, low-intensity psychological intervention, mindful parenting, and internet therapy to suit local needs.
