Introduction:
Ms. Hui has more than 15 years of clinical experience and has provided clinical psychological
services in the Hospital Authority, the Social Welfare Department, non-governmental organizations
and tertiary institution. Her clients include people of all ages and different language or cultural
backgrounds. She helps clients to deal with different mental and emotional problems, improving
their ability to adapt and cope with problems in times of adversity, so that they can embrace various
life experiences with calm and confidence. Ms. Hui adopts evidence-based approaches to
psychotherapy, including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), emotion-focused therapy (EFT),
acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), etc., to help people suffering from mental health
concerns understand and solve their problems. She believes that psychotherapy and counselling is a
two-way and joint journey that the psychologist and the clients go through together, so she put
emphasis on listening to the clients' needs, and accompanying them to find the most comfortable
and optimal lifestyles for themselves.
